1 cup white corn meal
⅓ cup all purpose flour
3 tsp double action baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 egg
cup and 1 tbsp. buttermilk
tomato juice

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together and drop by spoonfuls in a deep fat (375 degrees) cook for 6 or 7 minutes or until done.
