1 pkg spicy sausage
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped (could use yellow)
1 lg onion
1 (28-oz) can San Marzano tomatoes, blended
1 T basil
1 T sugar
1 t minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste
c parmesan cheese
1 ball whole mozzarella, sliced
1 pkg. ziti
1 jalapeno, optional

Brown sausage and drain. Saute onion fro 3 min. and add peppers. When tender, add tomatoes and spices. Add sausage and cook for 15 min. Stir in cooked ziti and pour into dish. Stir in parmesan cheese and top with sliced mozzarella cheese. Cover and bake on 350 for 30 min uncover and bake another 10 min.
