2 c self rising cornmeal
1 c self rising flour
1 c sugar
3/4 c buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 FCombine dry ingredients.
Add buttermilk until a cake batter consistency is reached.
Spray 2 large loaf pans and then put a dollop of crisco shortening in each pan.
Pour batter in loaf pans 1/2 to 2/3 full.
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool 5 minutes before cutting.
