Directions:Stir the dry stuff together. Chop the butter into it using a fork or one of those pastry thingies that's just a giant expensive fork thing for chopping butter. Do this FOREVER until it's all crumby. Make a hole in the middle of the crumby stuff and put in the milk. Mix it all up and mix in the cheese. If you are using your hands, DON'T wash them until you've rubbed them together for ages to get all the dough off. Otherwise you'll be there for the rest of your life trying to get it off. Trust me on this.
Line a baking tray with baking paper (you won't regret it) and plop blobs of dough on. Bake them for around 10 minutes at 180º C (should be a bit browned on top).
While they're baking, melt the butter and add squished-up garlic and a bit of salt and the parsley. When you take them out of the oven, brush on the garlic butter stuff. |

Notes: These are my version of the Red Lobster bread rolls that old ladies would call "those yummy muffins" which they would roll in napkins and slip into their handbags for later. Makes you wonder what else they've got in there. Anyway, everyone loves these. They're good with soup. Sometimes, I use plain yogurt instead of part of the milk. For some reason, plain yogurt plus a wee bit of lemon juice is magic with baking powder for making things rise.
