Kosher Whole Chicken cut up in four pieces and I also buy extra chicken bones. Kosher chickens give a better flavour.
4 qt. cold water
1 onion
carrots
stalks celery
1/2 parsnip if desired
2 sprigs dill
parsley if desired
Cauliflower
salt and pepper to taste
I also put in some Croyden House Chicken Soup mix.

Directions:
Directions:
Scald Chicken. Clean well. Place in water and bring to a boil. Skim.Add remaining ingredients.
Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Strain. Serve with rice or noodles.

Or put in your Instant Pot which is easier.
