1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion chopped
1 stalk celery
2 cloves of garlic
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/4 c. ketchup
salt and pepper to taste
add ins: red wine vinegar
2 tsps. molasses
sugar
chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Brown onion, celery, pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Add sat & Pepper.
Add ground beef and brown 6-8 min.
Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire, add chicken broth if needed, add sugar,molasses, vinegar to taste.
Cook until thickened.

This is a Martha Stewart Recipe from 2009. We add sloppy joes as kids. So I wanted something different. And I really liked this recipe when I wanted something different. Great for preparing ahead of time and serving at a get together.
