2 lbs. ground turkey
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 sleeve saltine crackers crushed
2 eggs
1/2 green pepper minced
1/2 yellow pepper minced
1/2 orange pepper minced
1/2 red pepper minced
1 medium white onion chopped
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. salt
thoroughly mix
Topping:
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vinegar

Preheat oven to 375

Spray pan with cooking spray. Combine both meats, peppers, onion, crackers and eggs. Divide meat mixture equally and form into balls. Make a large divet in each portion. (should make approx. 8 portions.)

Combine ketchup, brown sugar and vinegar. Spoon into divet of each portion and drizzle any extra evenly over each portion. Place in cooking dish. Okay if they touch because they will shrink.

Bake at 375 for 40 to 45 minuets. Check doneness at 30 mins. (insert knife and pull apart to check for any pink).

I usually make this at the same time I'm making Wendy's Chili so that peppers don't go to waste.

Great with mashed potatoes and a favorite vegetable
