Drop Cookies

½ c. soft margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg
½ teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon almond extract
1½ cups flour
½ t. baking soda
¼ t. salt
½ c. sour cream
(see Orange Frosting Recipe that follows)
Directions:
Directions:
Beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in egg and vanilla and almond extract. Add combined dry ingredients alternating with sour cream, mixing well after each addition. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool; Frost with Orange frosting.

1/4 cup soft margarine or butter, softened
1 t. grated orange rind
2 cups sifted powdered sugar
4 t. milk

Beat margarine. Blend in rind. Add sugar alternately with milk, beating until light and fluffy.
