2 small or 1 large box Strawberry Jello - Regular or Sugar Free
(really any dark red flavor works but Strawberry is very good)
1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple (in pineapple juice), drained
1 14 oz. can whole berry cranberry sauce (not the solid jellied cranberry)

Directions:

Make the Jello according to directions.
Add drained pineapple and cranberry sauce.
Stir breaking up cranberry sauce.
Pour into 9x13 inch dish and refrigerate overnight (longer is better).

This recipe came from Patty Arambarri. Seeing as we sometimes switched houses for Thanksgiving, the rule was, if you were hosting, you made the Jello so it didn't have to travel. This particular Jello salad is so refreshing. We use it in lieu of cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving each year and I actually use this recipe every time I want a Jello salad as part of a menu.
