1/4c. - 1/2c. chopped onions
1/3 c. Butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. Dry mustard/or regular mustard
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 1/4 c. Milk
2 c.grated Chedder OR your choice
2 - 3 c. macaroni (dry)




Directions:
Directions:
Salute onions in butter until soft. Blend in flour and seasonings. Add milk, cook stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and add cheese, Worcestershire and mustard. Stir until smooth.
Cook macaroni in boiling water and tsp. salt. Cook until tender but firm (taste test). Drain. Add to sauce and pour into baking dish.

Topping - 1/2 c. crumbs (crackers or bread crumbs). 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese (optional) and 2 Tbsp. Melted butter
Sprinkle on top of casserole.

Bake 350º- 30 minutes
