2 pounds raw shrimp
3 tomatoes
1 red onion
1 bunch fresh cilantro
3 avocados
12 ounces ketchup
5 teaspoons Texas Pete hot sauce
3 cups V8 juice
1 lime

Directions:
Directions:
Put raw shrimp in large pot and fill with water just covering shrimp.
Bring water to a boil and turn off immediately. DO NOT THROW OUT WATER!
Drain and save water for soup base.
Peel shrimp and let stand to cool.
Cut tomato, onion, and cilantro very fine into a large bowl.
Add shrimp, water, ketchup, V8, hot sauce, and stir.
Slice avocados into large chunks and add to soup.
Squeeze lime into soup.
Refrigerate one hour... if you can wait that long.
