11/2-2 T. unsalted butter
3-4 T. minced garlic
1-1/2 c. heavy cream
1/2-1 c. milk
3/4-11/2 c fresh Parmesan grated
2 extra large eggs
Kosher salt & fresh ground pepper to taste

Sauce:
combine butter, garlic, heavy cream, and milk over medium heat and bring to a low simmer and remove from heat
stir in egg yolk, one at a time, whisking-rapidly and constantly to prevent egg from scrambling
Put back over medium heat and add parmesan
add more milk if mixture is to thick, add heavy cream if to thin
salt & pepper to taste
HINT: more pepper than salt taste best

Chicken & Shrimp

Meat:
1 large boneless skinless chicken breast rinsed, patted dry, and cut into cubes
1 16 -oz. bag medium peeled tail-off raw shrimp

Other ingredients:
salt & pepper to taste
olive oil to cook chicken in
1 medium onion sauteed before cooking chicken
1-11/2 lb whole wheat Penna pasta cooked Al dente
3 T. Fresh parsley leaves for garnishing with

Directions:

cook pasta Al dente set aside add olive oil to keep pasta from sticking

While sauce is simmering, cook chicken cubes in olive oil with sauteed onion and basil until fully cooked
boil shrimp til done

Mixing all ingredients together and serve immediately before it cools garnishing with parsley and served with a vegetable. I personally like broccoli to go with this meal or Mediterranean blend

I never found an Alfredo dish that I truly liked until I started to make up my own sauce and ingredients by researching other sauces to see what the main ingredients are in common with each other and I experimented until I nailed it. Old Bay is also good on the shrimp.
