½ cup butter, melted
1 egg
¾ cup brown sugar
1 tbsp milk
½ tsp vanilla or almond extract
1¼ cup flour
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking powder

Bake at 375º
Melt butter and add brown sugar, dissolve well – add egg and vanilla – beat well – and milk, flour, salt, and baking powder – mix and drop by teaspoon-full onto a greased cookie sheet one inch apart – bake for 8 minutes until light brown
