6 cups chopped figs
6 cups of sugar
4 sm pkgs of strawberry jello

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a large pan (or boiler). Stir constantly over medium heat. Keep stirring until the figs boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Skim off the foam from the top of the preserves. Put in jars and seal up tight!
