Start with 8 cups of cornbread (*See Grandma Powell's Cast Iron Cornbread recipe)

½ cup butter
1 medium onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
½ pound ground pork sausage
2 tablespoons minced parsley
2 tablespoons poultry seasoning
2 tablespoons sage
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 medium apple, peeled and chopped
½ cup to 1 cup turkey drippings

Directions:
Directions:
For best results, let cornbread get stale overnight. Brown sausage and remove from pan. Brown all the ingredients, except cornbread. Add all to cornbread and mix well. Stuff turkey or bake at 400º until brown.
