1 pkg white cake mix
1 - 3 oz pkg strawberry gelatin
1 cup water
1/2 cup canola oil
4 egg whites
1/2 cup mashed unsweetened strawberries
whipped cream or frosting of your choice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

In a large bowl, combine dry cake mix, gelatin powder, water & oil. Beat on low speed1 minute or until moistened; beat on medium 4 minutes

In small bowl with clean beaters, beat egg whites on high speed until stiff peaks form. Fold in egg whites & mashed strawberries into cake batter.

Pour into 3 greased & floured 8" cake pans. bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpicked inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans to cool on wire racks completely

Spread whipped cream or frosting between layer & over top & sides of cake. Store in refrigerator
