1 cup butter
1½ cup sugar
2 eggs
2¾ cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cream of tartar
½ tsp salt

2 Tbl White Sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º

In bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Stir in eggs. Sift together flour, soda, salt, cream of tartar. Stir into creamed mixture until well blended.

In small bowl stir sugar and cinnamon.

Roll dough into small balls in cinnamon sugar mixture.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Edges should be slightly brown. Remove cookies to cool on wire rack.
