1 1/2 pounds cubed round steak, cut into thin strips (or left over roast / steak)
All-purpose flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, sliced
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 can beef broth or stock
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Salt and black pepper
1 cup sour cream
Cooked egg noodles
1/4 cup garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle the beef with salt and pepper, then dust with flour. In a large skillet, quickly brown on both sides in the olive oil. Remove steak from the pan. Add onion slices and mushrooms to the pan drippings. Saute for a few min., until onion is tender. Sprinkle with 1 tsp. flour. Put steak back into pan with onion and mushrooms. Add mushroom soup and beef broth. Cook over low heat for about 30 min., covered. Adjust seasoning to taste. Stir in sour cream right before you serve. Serve over cooked noodles. This is a great dish to use with left-over roast or steaks. Family favorite for sure!!
