• 1 lb. Ziti (1 box)
• 16 oz. Ricotta
• 16 oz. Shredded Mozzarella (Divided)
• 1/4 Grated Parmesan (Divided)
• 2 c. Tomato Sauce or Meat Sauce
• 1 Egg

Directions:
Directions:
• Preheat oven to 350º F.
• Bring a large pot water to a boil.
• Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente.
• Heat sauce up (will be used to help cheese melt
• Drain & rinse pasta.
• Put drained pasta back in the pot
• Top with sauce, 1 1/4c. mozzarella, ricotta, egg (beaten) and 1/8 c. Parmesan
• Mix until blended
• Spread bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan.
• Sprinkle top with remaining Parmesan.
• Sprinkle top with remaining mozzarella
• Cover with foil
• Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes.
• Remove foil and cook an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is golden brown

* Sprinkle a little chopped fresh basil or parsley on top to add a little color, texture and extra flavor

* Make extra meat sauce to top the ziti when served.

***When covering with foil always be sure to leave room so the cheese does not stick. It is always helpful to make a teepee or tent but make sure edges are closed
