1 c. butter softened
3 c. Quaker Oats
c. sugar
c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. Flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
tsp. salt
1 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together Butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Sift Flour, and all dry ingredients into mixture. Add oats.

Drop by the spoonful onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 375 for 8-9 min.

We all looked forward to Grandma making Oatmeal Cookies because we knew we could eat the cookie dough. It was a treat before the actual treat of eating these delicious baked cookies.
