flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cook peas in water until tender. Mix a spoonful of flour with milk, adding a little milk at a time to make a smooth, thin paste. Stir flour mixture into the hot liquid from the cooked peas. Bring to boil to thicken. Add more milk to desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper. Eat over toast.
