Sugar Cookies

2 1/2 cup sifter flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon mix these 3 ingredients together

1 cup butter
4 oz cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and cream cheese and sugar. Add egg youk and vanilla. Add flour mixture. Chill slightly. Bake cut out cookies for 15 minutes at 350º.

I always double this recipe.

The frosting is a simple powdered sugar frosting with softened butter, vanilla, powdered sugar and enough milk- not too much! -for spreading texture. Divide into bowls and add drops of food coloring to find the best shade.
