2 ½ stick butter, softened
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
4 eggs
½ tsp salt
1 tsp almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325º
2. In a large bowl, cream butter until it is fluffy. Add sugar and cream again.
3. Add half of the flour and half of the milk to the creamed mixture, stirring until blended.
4. Stir in one egg at a time, with remaining flour and milk.
5. Add salt and almond extract until well blended. Pour into an un-greased loaf pan.
6. Bake for 1 hour at 325º. Increase oven temperature to 350º and bake an additional 30 minutes.
7. Let cool before cutting.
