¾ lb Bacon, cut into 1/2 -inch pieces
1 can Cream of asparagus soup (10.5 oz)
1 can Milk
8 Large tomatoes, diced
1 qt Half-and-half
½ head Lettuce, shredded
⅛ cup Steak sauce
⅛ cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Flour
Salt and Pepper To taste

Directions:
Cook bacon in large saucepan. Remove bacon before crisp and set aside. Add flour and cook about 1 minute. Add tomato wedges, Worcestershire sauce and steak sauce to bacon dripping roux. Simmer 30 minutes. Blend in cream of asparagus soup and milk and simmer 10 minutes. Add half-and-half and heat through, but do not allow to boil. Add bacon to soup. Just before serving top soup with shredded lettuce. Adjust with salt and pepper as needed.
