16 oz plain Goat Cheese
1/2 C Sour Cream
1 tsp Kosher salt
3/4 C Sesame Seeds, toasted
3/4 C Minced Dill
1/2 C finely chopped Dried Cherries or any cranberries preferred
1/2 C finely chopped Walnuts
24 Pretzel Sticks


SPECIAL EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Food Processor

1. In food processor, combine the goat cheese, sour cream and salt.

2. Process till smooth, about 30 seconds or so.

3. Scoop mixture into 24 (or so) 1 TBS portions and place on parchment-lined sheet pan.

4. Transfer to freezer to firm slightly, about 15-mins.

5. Remove tray from freezer and using your hands, shape goat cheese into balls.

6. Set aside (place in frig).

7. Place sesame seeds and dill in separate small bowls.

8. In 3rd bowl, mix together dried cherries and walnuts.(Or, have 3 separate bowls to coat balls).

9. Remove tray from frig and one at a time, drop balls into bowls, roll around to coat.

10. Place all ballson sheet pan, cover with plastic wrap and return to frig.

11. Transfer to platter just before serving and place a pretzel stick in center of each cheese ball.
