8.5 cups water
4-5 medium size potatoes
1 medium carrot
1/4 red bell pepper
1 medium onion
1 medium tomato
3 green onions
1 lb cabbage
1 whole red beet (about 5 oz.)
1/2 lemon (fresh juice)
2 teaspoons fresh parsley chopped

While the water starts to boil, we prep the cabbage.

In a heated pan add 1 tablespoon of oil, 1/4 of chopped onion and whe starts to get golden ad he chopped tomato and the chopped cabbage. Let it cook halfway and remove.

when the water starts to boil add the whole onion and let it boil for 15 min. Add the chopped carrot, green onion, red bell pepper, potatoes cut in small cubes, and half the beets (shredded)

When the potatoes are ready add teh cabbage and let it cook for 5-7 min. Add the other hal of the beets (shredded) and the fresh squeeze juice of a 1/2 lemon. Bring it to a fast boil and ad the chopped parsley and remove.

Serve with a spoon of sour cream, and a glass of red wine!
It can also be made with beef meat.
