1 lb. butter (not margarine)
3 cups brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. Crisco shortening
7 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. whiskey
5 cups four

Directions:
Directions:
Have butter at room temperature.
Cream sugar an shortenings.
Add beaten eggs, vanilla and whiskey.
Gradually add flour, mix well.
Spoon approximately 1/2 tablespoon of mixture ot a preheated gullette iron. (use a waffle iron)
Cook 30 to 45 seconds

Samantha, this is a recipe from grandma's side of the family for making gullettes. We used to need a gullette iron which we never got so we only had this at holiday's when family made them. This recipe comes from
