Ingredients:
1 package of Oreos (Double Stuffed is OK, if you’re into that)
8 oz. cream cheese (usually is 1 bar’s worth)
12 oz. white melting chocolate (using a high quality melting chocolate makes a difference!)
Edible glitter, stars, sprinkles, candy canes. Get creative!

Supplies:
Wax paper or parchment paper lined backing sheet
Freezer & fridge space
Mixing bowl

Directions:
Directions:
Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs. You can put them in a gallon size zip-lock and pound out the frustration you felt towards everyone in the parking lot at the mall while you were Christmas shopping, OR you can do this in a food processor or blender.

Put the Oreos in a mixing bowl and mix in the cream cheese. Keep mixing until a sticky dough has formed.

Have your wax paper or parchment paper ready on a flat surface (I usually put it on top of a baking sheet because it’s easier to place in the freezer). Roll about 1- 1 ½ tablespoons of dough into a ball (or whatever size you’d like) and set it on the wax paper. Place your truffles in the freezer and let them set for about 30 minutes.

You do not want them to freeze!
Once these are set, place the white melting chocolate in a small microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until melted. (Follow the instructions on your melting chocolate of choice).

Dipping the truffles:

Remove the truffles from the freezer. Drop them into the chocolate and roll them around carefully with a fork. Make sure they get a good amount of coating.

Let the excess chocolate drip off, then set it on top of the wax paper.

The melting chocolate sets pretty quickly. Top the truffles with your glitter or sprinkles before they dry.

Once they are all dipped, place them in the fridge to set for about 10 minutes.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
These are super easy treats to make. Only requires 2 main ingredients and leaves lots of room for creativity for any occasion. I love to coat them in white melting chocolate and add a little magic by coating them in edible glitter or gold stars. For Christmas I like to crush candy canes and sprinkle them on top.
