1½ c brown sugar
2 tbsp .butter
2 eggs
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1½ c milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
1. In a frying pan, mix brown sugar, and a little milk
2. Brown a little
3. Separate eggs and set egg whites aside
4. Mix egg yolks, remaining milk and cornstarch
5. Add to sugar mixture in frying pan
6. Cook on low until thick
7. Add vanilla
8. Place in cooked pie shell
9. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks
10. Top pie with egg whites
11. Cook in hot oven until egg whites are light brown
