4 c grated apples
2 c sugar
2 c flour
½ c vegetable oil
2 t soda
1 t salt
2 eggs
1 t cinnamon
½ t nutmeg
2 t vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven, for 40 to 50 minutes until done. It is done when a knife inserted into middle comes out clean. Lisa says this is a dense, moist cake. She had an apple cake made with chunked apples; her Mom told her that was how her recipe was originally written.
