Pudding:
4½ c sliced apples
½ c granulated sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. water
4 tbsp. butter
⅓ c flour
¾ c rolled oats
½ c brown sugar

Brown sugar sauce:
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 tbs. flour
½ c brown sugar
¼ c rum

Directions:
Directions:
Apple crisp pudding
1. Grease dish and arrange apples in the bottom
2. Sprinkle with sugar
3. Mix lemon juice and water, pour over apples
4. Cream butter and sugar
5. Add flour and oats
6. Spread over apples
7. Bake at 375º for 35 minutes
8. Sprinkle with cinnamon

Sauce
1. Melt butter
2. Add in flour, salt and brown sugar
3. Cook until golden brown over medium heat for 5 min
4. Add 1 c boiling water and rum, cook until thickened
5. Pour over apple crisp
