3 cups water
1 tbsp. garlic salt
¼ cup salt
1 tbsp. pepper
¾ cup apple cider vinegar
1¼ tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
¼ cup sugar
3 sticks butter
6-10 pieces chicken leg quarters.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients (except chicken) in saucepan on stove and heat to boiling. Cool.

Place chicken in heavy duty Ziploc bag (2 gallon bag fits all pieces). Pour marinade into bag and marinate chicken overnight.

Place chicken on grill and pour marinade from bag into large roaster pan. Grill chicken at a high temperature for approximately 20-30 min to get blackened color, dipping in marinade often.

Put blackened chicken into roaster with marinade, cover with foil or lid, and bake for 2½ to 3 hours at 275º
