3-4 lb chuck roast - may use any beef roast
1 envelope ranch dressing mix
1 pkg Au jus gravy mix
¼ cup butter
4-5 jarred pepperoncini peppers or fresh green pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown roast if desired.
Put roast in slow cooker.
Add other ingredients.
Salt and pepper if desired and cook until tender which is usually 8 or more hours.
Serve with noodles, mashed potatoes, or on a bun.
