1 lb. Butter
2 Cups Chopped Brazil Nuts (Or Substitute Pecans, Walnuts. Etc.)
12 oz. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
2 Cups Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Use 1-Tbsp. butter to grease a 15x10 pan.
Sprinkle pan evenly with 1 cup nuts; scatter 1 cup chocolate morsels evenly over nuts.
Put butter in 2-½ quart saucepan and melt over low heat; add sugar. Put candy thermometer in pan.
Stir over moderate heat until mixture becomes a pale caramel color and candy thermometer reaches 300 degrees (about 11 minutes).
Remove from heat; spoon sugar mixture over nuts and chocolate chips.
Scatter remaining chocolate chips on top of sugar mixture and spread warm morsels over surface.
Sprinkle with remaining nuts.
Chill till firm. Break into pieces.
Makes 3 ¼ lbs.
