16 cups popped corn. Place popped corn in large paper grocery bag.

Syrup:

1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 t salt

Micro about 2 mins or until mixture boils. Boil 3 mins, stirring several times. Remove, stir in 1/2 t soda. Pour mixture over corn in paper bag. Shake well. Micro 1 min. Shake well. Micro 1 min. Shake well. Micro 1/2 min. Shake well. Micro 1/2 min. Shake well. Spread in cookie sheet to cool.

**May ad peanuts if desired.

The microwave needs to be able to hold a paper bag lengthways. If not, you can prepare this recipe via the oven. But, that increases the time to hours spent in the kitchen.
