1/2 lb. oleo - 1/2 tsp. salt - 1 c. water - 2 eggs, slightly beaten
4 T. cocoa - 1 c. sour cream (or 1 c. milk & 1 T. vinegar)
2 c. flour - 1 tsp. baking soda

Icing: 1/2 c. oleo - 4 T. cocoa - 6-8 T. milk - 1 tsp. vanilla - 1 c. chopped nuts
1 lb. box powdered sugar

Combine oleo, water and cocoa and bring to a boil. Cool, then add sugar, flour and salt. Blend in eggs, sour cream or milk and baking soda. Pour into greased and floured 10 1/2 cookie sheet. Bake at 350º - 25 minutes.
Icing - Bring oleo, cocoa and mild to a boil. Add sugar, vanilla and nuts. Beat til smooth and pour over top of bars while they are still warm. Chill or freeze.
