1 box Refrigerated Pillsbury Pie Crusts

6-8 thinly sliced apples (Granny Smith, Golden Delicious or Honeycrisp)

¾ c. sugar
¼ c. flour
½ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. cinnamon
Dash of salt

2 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare pie crusts to room temperature

Mix sugar, flour, spices, and apples together

Pour into bottom crust lined pie plate.

Dot with butter.

Cover with top crust with slits. Seal and flute. Sprinkle crust with sugar if desired.

Cover edge with 2-3 inch wide strips of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning.
Remove foil for the last 15 min of baking.
Bake until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through the slits.

Bake 425º 40-50 min. (35 min. with foil and 15 min. without foil.)
