4 c. sliced strawberries
1½ c. water
¼ c. cornstarch
¾ c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 3oz package strawberry jello
1 container cool whip
1 pie crust (can substitute graham cracker crust if desired)
Directions:
Directions:
Mix water, sugar cornstarch and salt together. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add the package of strawberry jello. Cool until syrupy-like. Add strawberries. Bake pie crust according to package directions (or make your own). Pour strawberry mixture into the baked 10" pie crust and refrigerate until firm. Top with cool whip.
