4 sticks butter
4 cups of flour
½ tsp salt
4 Tbsp sugar

Fresh rhubarb and strawberries cut up
* can use other fruit such as peaches if desired

Directions:

In Cuisinart, or mixer, mix together butter, flour, salt, and sugar.
Press into large rectangular pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Layer with lots of cut up fruit, covering crust generously.

Beat the following in a bowl with a wire whisk:
3 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup flour
8 eggs beaten

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Pour topping mixture over top of fruit and bake one hour or until lightly browned.
This makes a very large batch - recipe can be cut in half for family size.
P.S. I use Grandma Consaga's large cookie sheet or two jelly roll pans.

This recipe is very good for a large group. I copied this directly from one of Nana's recipe cards. I know she used to make it for large gatherings because it made so much and was always good in the summer.
