1 cup shortening

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla

2 eggs

1 cup peanut butter

2 cups sifted flour

2 tsp soda

14 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.

Thoroughly cream shortening, sugars and vanilla.

Add eggs; beat thoroughly; stir in peanut butter.

Sift dry ingredients together and stir into creamed mixture.

With a teaspoon of dough form into walnut sized balls.

Place on ungreased cookie sheets.

Press with back of floured fork to make criss-cross.

Bake in 350 oven about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
