3 lb Chuck Roast (Has to be Chuck to make the gravy)
1 stick butter
2 T of olive oil
1 package of Lipton Onion Soup mix
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch dip mix
Approximately 10 Peperoncini's

Directions:
Directions:
Place stick of butter in the bottom of your crock pot.
Put the 2 Tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan and get your pan hot. Place your roast in the hot pan and seer the roast on each side for approximately 3 minutes. You can salt and pepper the roast on each side as it is being seered. Next place the roast in your crock pot. Sprinkle the Lipton Onion Soup Mix and the Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix on top of the roast. Next place the 10 Peperoncini's over the top of the roast and pour a little of the juice from the jar to add a little more spice. Cook on low heat all day if fixing for supper or cook on high for at least 5 hours.
