2 lbs. ground meat (beef, pork, or fowl)
1 large onion
1 red, orange, or yellow pepper
1 tbsp salt
3 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp cumin
¼ tsp allspice
1 tbsp sugar
¾ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 12 oz. beer (chef's choice)
1 6 oz. can tomato paste
1 28 oz. can petite diced tomatoes
1 can chili hot beans, undrained
1 can beans (chef’s choice), rinsed/drained
1 cinnamon stick

Brown meat in skillet and drain away excess grease (I typically splash with Worcestershire sauce while cooking). Roughly chop all vegetables and combine with everything else in crock-pot. Heat until bubbling, then back-off heat to let simmer as long as you can.
