Package Vanilla Wafers, crumbled [is "crumbled" the same as crumbs?]
4 tablespoons white Karo
1 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup whiskey
1 cup powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix crumbled wafers, Karo, pecans, whiskey and 3/4 cup sugar. Shape into small balls and roll in confectioner's (powdered) sugar.

Each Christmas, Mother would get her whiskey or rum from Uncle Mack for candies, cakes or boiled custard.
