1 yellow cake mix
Ingredients to make as directed, use cream instead of milk, butter melted instead of oil,
1/2 tsp almond extract
Raspberry jam, about 9 Tbsp
2 c heavy cream
2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp almond extract
red food color, optional

Bake at temp given on mix in 3 or 4 layers, may split 2 layers into 4
Save a layer for the top. On other layers, spread jam
In a chilled bowl, with chilled beaters, mix 1 c. cream, 1 Tbsp sugar and 1/2 tsp almond until stiff
Spread on jam
Whip the rest of the cream, sugar, almond and red food color until stiff
Frost the entire cake
