3/4 water
2 pkgs active dry yeast
4 cups gold medal flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup shortening or part butter
1stick of butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1 1/2 cup flour ,yeast,sugar and salt.
Add 1/2 cup hot water from (faucet)
not boiling,mix well, add shortening
or margarine ,mix well,add eggs and
mix well, add remaining flour,blend.
Cover. Let rise in warm place ( 85 degrees or until double in bulk, about
1 1/2 hours.shape as desired, brush
with butter, let rise until double . Preheat oven to 400 degrees, bake 12 to. 15 min, or until rich golden brown.
