"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 bags gourmet white microwave popcorn
24 oz white candy melts (Wilton brand works great)
2 drops Food coloring and/or flavoring , optional
8 oz colored candy melts , optional

Directions:
Directions:
Spread a large piece of wax paper out on the counter top.

Pop three bags of microwave popcorn in the microwave according to directions. Place popcorn in a large bowl and shake the bowl back and forth to get the un-popped kernels to the bottom of the bowl. Gently transfer the popped corn to another large bowl. Throw out the un-popped kernels (we don't want to break any teeth!)

Place the white candy melts into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave at 50% power or defrost setting for 1 minute. Stir thoroughly being sure to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl. If candy is not completely melted, microwave for another 30 seconds and stir again. Repeat this process until the white chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Place 1/4 of the melted candy in a separate bowl and set aside.

Pour the white chocolate over the popcorn and toss until popcorn is covered.
Spread popcorn over the wax paper and let the it cool. The white chocolate will harden and not melt on your hands when you pick it up.

Add food coloring and flavoring of your choice to the saved melted candy.

Using a fork drizzle the colored candy over the white chocolate popcorn and let it cool.
Once cooled, the white chocolate popcorn can be kept in an airtight container or sealed plastic bag until ready to serve.
