1 cup nuts
1/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 Tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1` pinch cayenne (optional)
1 pinch salt

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients into a non-stick skillet.

Heat over medium heat until all ingredients are liquid.

Stir frequently until liquid has evaporated and nuts appear to be dry.

Spread juts on baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool.

Serve warn or store in an airtight container for up to several weeks.

Feel free to vary the nuts - use pecans, almonds, pistachios, cashews, macademia -= whatever you prefer - or use a mixture.

A 12" skillet can easily accommodate 4 cups of nuts.
