2 sticks of 6 inch stick cinnamon
16 whole cloves
1 tsp whole allspice
3 medium oranges
6 cups apple juice or cider
2 cups cranberry juice
¼ cup sugar
1 tsp aromatic bitters
1 cup rum or vodka, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Tie the spices in a cheesecloth-allspice, cinnamon and cloves-save a few cloves for the orange slices.
Combine juices, sugar, and bitters and warm in a pot on the stovetop. Add spice bag and simmer. Stud the oranges with cloves and simmer 10 minutes, stir in rum or vodka if desired.
