2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. applesauce
1/4 c. salad oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the sifted dry ingredients and nuts together. Combine egg, applesauce and oil. Add to the dry ingredients and stir just until blended. Pour into a well greased loaf pan and bake in a moderate oven at 350º for 50 minutes.
