Mom's Egg Bake Recipe

12 eggs
12 slices of bread
2 c. milk
Salt and Pepper
1 lb.shredded cheese

Meat options: Pound of bacon, sausage, or diced ham

Cheese options: Sharp cheddar, colby jack, 3 cheeses blend

Veggie options:
Red, yellow or green peppers
Diced onions

Layer 6 slices of bread in a greased 9X13 pan
Layer cooked bacon, sausage,or ham on the bread
Sprinkle cheese on the meat (or veggies)

Layer 6 slices of bread on top of meat/cheese/veggies

Beat eggs and add milk, salt and pepper.
Pour eggs and milk mixture on top

Refrigerate overnight

Bake at 350 for an hour.
(Can be held in the oven without heat on for an additional
30-45 minutes if needed without becoming tough)
